19A - Idea Napkin No.2

Hey, I am Miguel Lucas. I am an individual who seeks to create successful business in the future like many of you reading this blog. My current skills are not much like programming skills, but I do have soft skills that have made me become the person I am today. Skills such as; patience, hard work, and consistency towards things I really want to work on. This business idea would play a role in my life by simply causing me to be busy throughout the day with meetings or calls about the app making sure it sure works seamlessly.
I am offering a service that would provide there to be a more efficient way of traveling by making sure transportation is quicker than before. This would be by making people take the RTS bus and this will hopefully decongest the roads making travel for the RTS bus to be quicker.
The customers are plain out college students trying to get to class and anyone other citizen that pays RTS fare.
My service is going to be free for anyone by having the download be free. It is simply important to the customers as they would get to their destination much quicker and earn points to redeem at stores.
One thing I feel that pulls me apart from everyone else is that I tend to have very good patience for things before I start to get stressed. This is usually just after a long time of doing stocks that now I basically have to be patient everyday so I do not take a loss by selling too early.
In addition to these five elements, please spend a paragraph evaluating whether you believe these elements fit together or whether there are aspects of your business concept that are weaker / out-of-joint with the others.

I believe these elements tend to go great with the business concept. Making my concept be an app will require a lot of patience in the beginning. This is because not everyone is going to know about the app and make my service ineffective. Now, overtime it should play out well, but it will require my patience and hard work to get there. This is why I believe my elements go well with my service.

18A - Creating A Customer Avatar

Image result for students getting into a RTS bus

My avatar would heavily consist of different College students all trying to rush to campus in the morning trying to beat traffic. They all have the same objective, the objective to get to their 8:30 at least 15 minutes late max.

The thing I have in common with my avatar is we both desire to get dreams of getting to campus as soon as we can. This does not happen unless it is very late or early in the morning. I do not believe this is a conscience as I find that usually entrepreneurs try to solve problems in their day to day life. My avatars are in my day to day life which is why they tend to have the same problem that I do. There is not much needing to describe my avatars as I go through lives on a day to day basis.

1.
I think the few five that make me different is:
My will power to complete something
My ability to get around an obstacle in life
I pay attention to knowledge I feel would help me rather than absorbing anything
I have an ability to act mature in the right setting with the right people
I do not let big life events get the best of my emotions.
2.
3.

I think others see me the way I kind of see myself as that is the way I tried to be in life. I tried to be hard working due to how much my father would preach to me how important it was in life to work towards your goals no matter what happens and what is in front of you. I think they are correct for me as most of them I am 100% open with my finances and goals I want to achieve and the reasoning behind everything I do. I would not make any changes as I still view myself that way and hope to do so.

15A - Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 2

Interview 1:
During the picking process, I tend to be very different each time I am buying something and it usually determines my income during the time. For example, price might matter during the time if I am not feeling happy financially - but if I am happy I tend to buy more expensive during the time. Quality usually does matter to me as it is the reason I am buying something but it may depend if I am buying something for the hype or if I am buying it for the usability.
I am more likely to buy online since I tend to find things easier that way and I tend to be able to price match. I tend to never finance things as I run the risk of possibly not paying it in the future.
I tend to see if I actually end up using the product rather than having it be around my room! I tend to think it was a bad purchase if I tend to realize I am not happy using the product and find using something else instead of it.
Interview 2:
I usually tend to decide a lot on if the product is worth the money due to its quality rather than the brands value. I am not going to go buy Gucci because it is Gucci. I will instead invest into more reasonably priced shirts that provide great quality and that are going to last a long time.
I buy everything online since I am usually busy and don't have time to shop. If i feel like i did not like the purchase since I bought it online, I can easily return it through the mail and order something else. I usually tend to buy everything with my credit card as I end up receiving rewards on top of my purchases with my credit card.
I can tell it was a great purchase if I find myself not necessarily using it everyday, but if I am happy using it when I do use it. Some things are not for everyday use like a boat, but I am happy when I use it making it a rightness purchase.
Interview 3:
When it comes to buying a product I tend to always look at the price first. I am an individual that does not have much money to spend on products I do not need as I am in college living off scholarships and financial aid. Quality matters, but during this point of my life a product is worth it if it is cheap and can do what I need it to do.
I always tend to go to the stores and look for the deals, but I sometimes do go online if there is a better sale online as well. I do not ever finance items as I can sometimes barely afford goods and I can much less afford them with interest on top of that.
I usually do not need to evaluate my purchase because my purchase is usually always right as I am frugal with my money and only get things that are needed. If I find I do not need it, I return it right away.
Draw conclusions

I see that everyone’s perspective is very different. No one thinks the same as some prioritize lifestyle over actual quality and then there are some that only buy necessities. I learned that when making a product or service, make sure to know who your audience to effectively allocate your advertising. Is the audience going to finance the item? Are they college students who do not have much money? Or is it an inelastic good for people. It has made me question many more things before launching a product or service.
